Attached you will find before and after pictures of a very common space in 2 Story Omaha, NE homes.....the storage area above the garage. Many builders are offering their clients nice walk in closets utilizing the space above the garage that was not taken advantage of 10 years ago. Unfortunately with this space, most of the time the walls are anywhere from 60" to 80" tall, with limited opportunity for creativity. With these clients we were able to maximize their available space by adding adjustable shelving and shoe shelves above and hanging space below for their items under 42" in length. They were excited to have more space for their things, and we even added a tower on the back wall that allowed them to take their dresser out of the master bedroom and incorporate it in the closet.
