Here is a perfect example of making the best of a crowded space. The homeowners contacted us with a problem....they have a small coat closet that is over flowing. Coat closets by nature do not offer much space. The challenge was to leave the same amount of coat hanging space that they currently had, while at the same time adding stacking space and possibly some space for their gloves, hats, etc. The solution came in the form of adding adjustable shelving above a hang bar at eye level for their coats. We also added 2 baskets below half of the hanging area. This allowed the homeowners to continue to hang their long garments in half of the closet, hang their hip length coats in the other half of the closet, they tripled their stacking space above the hanging area, and they still have room for the baskets near the base of the closet. Our homeowners were excited about their new "space," and they accomplished this for a price that most people just spent for a night on the town during St. Patrick's Day!
